Transparency & safety
Which emails we send
Planninn only sends email you can expect from us. All of our email comes from [email protected]. Below is exactly what we send and why — and how to be sure an email is really from us.
Add us to your safe senders. Some email systems don’t automatically trust
[email protected], so our messages can land in the junk or spam folder. Add the address to your contacts or ‘safe senders’, and check your spam folder if needed, so you don’t miss anything.
Account & security
- Welcome email — right after you create an account.
- Login code — a one-time code to sign in securely, when applicable.
- Sign-in from a new device — a heads-up so you know if someone signs in somewhere new.
- Password reset — a link, only when you request a reset yourself.
- Password changed — a confirmation after your password is updated.
- Account temporarily blocked / reactivated — after too many failed sign-in attempts and once it works again.
Invitations
- Invitation to a family or team — when someone invites you to join.
- Connect invitation — to link two families or teams together.
- Application confirmation — if you apply to one of our job openings.
Calendar & activity
- Calendar invite (.ics) — when you forward an event to your own calendar; changes then follow automatically.
- Availability requested — a reminder when someone asks for your availability.
- Daily overview — your events and tasks for the day — only if you switched it on.
- Weekly overview — a look at your week ahead — only if you switched it on.
Tips & engagement
- Tips & tricks — a few days after signing up, to help you get started.
- Trial reminders — so you don't miss anything before your trial ends.
- ‘We miss you’ — if you haven't been active for a while.
- Review request — occasionally, if you're happy — never required.
Payments
- Payments and invoices — are handled by our payment partner Stripe. Payment confirmations come from Stripe, not from us.
How to recognise a genuine Planninn email
- All of our email comes from [email protected].
- Links in our email always point to planninn.app.
We will never ask you for:
- your password;
- your bank or credit-card details;
- your PIN, national ID number or a copy of your ID;
- a payment or transfer by email.
If you get such a request claiming to be from Planninn, it is not from us. Don’t click anything, don’t fill anything in, and delete the email. In doubt? Always sign in directly at planninn.app (not via a link in the email) or contact us.
You can unsubscribe from overviews and tips emails anytime via the link at the bottom of those emails. We keep sending security and account emails because they're needed to keep your account safe.
